We are shaping the future of the circular economy – will you join us?
SAP Application Manager SD/MM (m/w/d) Circular Economy
Welcome to the Raan Group! Our vision is clear: we close material cycles sustainably, conserve resources, and actively shape the future. As an owner-managed group of companies, we work on innovative solutions for the international circular economy—and you can play a central role in this.
As part of our in-house IT team, you will be at the forefront of our work: as an SAP Application Manager (m/f/d), you will not only support our existing SAP logistics modules, but also develop the area in an economical, compliant, and future-oriented manner. In doing so, you will combine strategic vision with genuine enthusiasm for our SAP processes.
Does this sound interesting to you? Then let's shape the future together!
“For us, technology is not an end in itself—it creates tangible added value for people and processes. As an SAP Consultant, you will help us ensure that IT really makes a difference, and you can shape this together with a motivated team.” (Frank Müllers, Head of Core Applications)
Your impact:
- You will be our central point of contact for support, changes, and projects in the area of our SAP logistics modules (SD/MM) within the international organization of the Raan Group.
- You will act as a technical advisor and sparring partner for colleagues from the specialist departments for the efficient use and optimization of the SAP modules.
- You will be responsible for the independent customization of the SAP SD/MM modules.
- Your responsibilities will also include coordinating and defining changes and managing and monitoring implementation with internal and external developers and consultants.
- You will assume (partial) project responsibility, including across modules where necessary.
What you bring to the job:
Are you motivated, forward-thinking, and a professional team leader? Perfect, because we are looking for someone who:
- ...has adequate IT training or a comparable degree, as well as relevant, in-depth, and demonstrable experience as a consultant (including in-house) in the SAP SD and/or MM environment. You also have experience in dealing with business partners in an international, European-oriented, medium-sized environment.
- ...has knowledge of SAP ECC customizing (SAP S4 HANA desirable) for the SD/MM modules. Sound process knowledge in the field of logistics also complements your technical skills.
- ...enjoys monitoring and defining interfaces to external systems, as well as determining requirements and documentation.
- ...ideally has basic knowledge of ABAP and other modules (e.g., FI).
- ...have language skills in German at a minimum of C1 and English at B2/C1.
- ...value teamwork and enjoy a dynamic corporate environment with your hands-on mentality.
What you can look forward to:
We know that work is more than just a job. That's why we don't just give you tasks, we give you real prospects:
- An exciting SAP consulting job with plenty of creative freedom and real impact in a future-oriented industry. Our customers are successful industrial companies – from strong specialists in exciting niches to global brands and brand owners.
- Flexible, digital working – remotely or on site in our beautiful, central Cologne office in the Rheinauhafen near the Chocolate Museum
- Individual onboarding and professional and personal training
- Culture & collaboration: You can expect team spirit, an open feedback culture, and an appreciative working environment
- Pension & mobility: We offer you a job ticket, bike leasing, gym membership, and a company pension plan.
- Events: Team building, networking, and socials, e.g., a monthly after-work get-together or internal knowledge exchanges.
